G3 Industries got its start in the early 1970s as Wire Maid Manufacturing, which G3 Industries later acquired. Back then, fan guards were one of only a few products offered—and they have stood the test of time, as we continue to manufacture fan guards today.
Our fan guards are made via a resistance welding process, in wire ranging from .062” to .500” in diameter. Some fan guards may be as small as 4” in diameter, perhaps for an ice cream machine, and others may be as big as 2-6’ in diameter, such as seen in commercial HVAC applications.
You may picture a fan guard in the common round shape, but G3 Industries can also make non-standard shapes—for instance, to protect fingers from fan blades inside the engine compartments of bulldozers, tractors, and lawn mowers. Our fan guard department team members are proud, efficient, and effective, and they will rise to any challenge they are given.
With decades of expertise, we ensure the fan guards we make have spacing that balances safety with airflow efficiency. And we consider that their design should allow for easy installation and removal.
Our long history with fan guards is a testament to the quality of product we manufacture, and we’d love for you to join the story, too—touch base with our team today.
